STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE TO CHANGE YOUR HOME ALARM BATTERIES
The majority of home alarm batteries are 12 Volt 7 Amp Hour the batteries are 150mm long 65mm wide and 95mm high, available from Batteries Direct the batteries will always be the same dimensions however the Amp Hour rating of the battery may vary between brands this does not affect the performance of the alarm.
It is a simple procedure to change the battery and can save you many $$$
When the Battery light shows it is time to replace the battery this is usually evey 3-5 years
The usual procedure to change the battery is:
1. Open the panel (the battery is usually located inside)
2. The Tamper alarm will sound
3. Enter your Pin Number this will turn the alarm off
4. Check the battery Part Number, Size, Voltage and Amp Hour rating of the battery
5. Close the Panel Re-Enter your Pin Number to set the Alarm, then in some cases again to put the alarm on standby
When you have purchased your 12 Volt 7 Amp Hour battery repeat 1-3
6. Take care not to pull on the wires when removing the battery connectors and make sure you replace them on the corresponding terminal of the new battery

Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 2–3 business days of receipt of payment. Orders are not processed or shipped from Friday, 12 pm EST through Sunday, or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, we will contact you via email or phone.
Shipment to P.O. boxes
Novocastrian Security Services ships to addresses within Australia.
Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Novocastrian Security Services is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility (including tariffs, taxes, and other costs).
Damages
Novocastrian Security Services is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please file a claim with the shipment carrier. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
International Shipping Policy
We currently do not ship outside of Australia.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery
We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid address by the Delivery Carrier. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address, the order will be canceled and refunded.
Novocastrian Security Services will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.
Missing or Stolen Shipments
If you didn't receive your order, but the shipping carrier has reported that it was delivered, please let us know as soon as possible and we will file a complaint with the carrier fo their investigation and review:

When we file a claim with the shipping carrier be aware that Local law enforcement will be involved. We will replace or refund your order when the investigation is complete. Allow up to 21 days for the investigation.
